Why is Customer Development important?

If you're selling a product, you want to make sure that you're offering them exactly what they want and need. You can't do that unless you talk to them. And talking to them means asking questions, listening carefully to the answers, and then using those answers to make decisions about how you'll continue developing your product or service.

Customer development is important because it allows you to build a product that people actually want. You can start with a great idea, but if you don't test it with real customers and use their feedback to improve your product, then you won't know whether or not it's going to work.

Customer Development helps you get out of the building and talk to your customers, so you can get their feedback on what they like and don't like about the product. If you're working on an app, for example, you might ask customers what features are the most important for them and how often they use them. You can also ask them questions about their experience using similar products in the past.

This information will let you know if your idea is something people would pay for or not. If enough people don't see value in it after talking with them directly (and not just reading reviews online), then maybe this isn't something worth pursuing further at this point in time or ever!
